When you woke up this morning, your first thought probably wasn't, "I wonder what Pee Wee Herman is up to these days." If it was, you've got issues.
But, lo and behold, the actor otherwise known as Paul Reubens is still around (who knew), and appeared on NBC's The Jay Leno Show Tuesday night.
Sometimes you get Obama on Letterman, other times you get Pee Wee Herman on Leno. Guess the quality of variety show interviews ebbs and flows.
The first thing he did was show off his new "abstinence ring," a clear reference to Reubens' arrest for indecent exposure at an adult theater in 1991.
Pee Wee Herman also talked about his first song recording as a child - "Let's Get Together" by Hailey Mills. It was even more boring than you think.
While there he made his first ever Tweet on his brand new Twitter account (you can follow THG on Twitter for something a little more worthwhile).

I actually woke up not long ago wondering about peewee. I thought,"it's time to give that guy another shot". it was like 20 years ago and we have really come pretty far since then. Did we take a dump on our morals? perhaps...Anyway. I saw Peewee on the show. It was the first time to watch Jay's new show. I wanted to see Peewee. The jokes and dialogue...ehh.? Kinda funny. Then when they went to the salad bar/french fry part, it was wierd. The stage started falling apart. Peewee plugged a new cookie product that isn't a "cookie" and burned Jay with hot cooking oil...No jokes either...nothing. The timing appeared to have been disrupted by the clanging noises on the set. After that it just never recovered.
Paul's face isn't the same since he last appeared as Peewee Herman. I would love to see another Peewee movie at the theaters or perhaps even straight to dvd. This appearance didn't serve Peewee well and I hope that no one tries to gauge the relevence of Pee wee on this botched endeavor.

I love PeeWee, he is my favorite STAR on the Hollywood walk of Fame. (Is he there???) don't know, but he should be.

Who is "the hollywood gossip" to rag on PeeWee? Paul Rubens is ten times cooler than this shitty website.
