It was a match made in heaven. Or at least Nashville.
The big day began with only a picnic – although the blindfold may have tipped off Holly Williams, who was going to be proposed to by beau Chris Coleman.
The granddaughter of music legend Hank Williams was escorted to Leipers Fork, Tenn, and treated to a picnic with wine and cheese, followed by a hike.
That's when Coleman decided to dig for Civil War relics.
"I dug up a beautiful wooden box with my favorite love quote on it," Holly Williams, 28, recalled, "and the engagement date carved in roman numerals."
"He wood-burned the letters onto the box! He got on one knee and I opened the box, underneath the flowers and basil were the rings."
A gushing Williams called it "a perfect engagement." She is currently on tour promoting her sophomore album Here With Me. Congrats to the pair!
