Molly Malaney and Jason Mesnick: Still Together!
It’s been nearly a month since Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney sparked both shock and outrage by rekindling their romance from on national TV - at the expense of Jason’s jilted fiancée from The Bachelor season finale, Melissa Rycroft.
So how are Jason and Molly doing now?
“Molly and I are happy,” Jason says.
In a remarkable move, the Bachelor couple spent a few days this month getting to know each other without cameras. Novel concept. In one of the few chances they have had to see each other, Jason flew to Milwaukee to visit Molly at her home.
They kept busy meeting her friends for drinks (“They gave him the stamp of approval!” says Molly), taking romantic strolls along Lake Michigan, and “grilling out.”
“I’ve learned new terminology,” Jason Mesnick says, laughing at the Midwestern word for barbecuing. “It’s normal, right, to say ‘grilling out’?” Molly insists with a laugh as the two snuggled up on a sofa in Molly’s living room.
Molly Malaney has been doing some cooking for Jason, who loves her signature recipe for Cheesy Chicken. And Jason has been trying to tempt Molly, the meat-and-potatoes all-American girl from Michigan, to try some new foods at restaurants.
“She really has a hard time trying new things,” he says.
Then again, the single dad says he has a hard time keeping to a schedule, which is something Molly is great at. So the relationship is working.
“We pull each other in the right direction,” Jason says.
While Melissa Rycroft cuts a rug on Dancing with the Stars, Jason and Molly are staying low key and getting to know each other. But it's not easy.
The biggest challenge? Distance. Molly hasn’t had a chance to fly to Seattle - she used up most of her vacation days around the time of The Bachelor finale - which also means she hasn’t spent any time with Jason’s 4-year-old son, Ty.
But she's about to put a stop to that.
“I’m headed out to Seattle in a couple of weeks,” she said. “I’m excited to just spend some time with Ty outside of the cameras and production.”

I trully biliv Jason did the right thing by ending it with Mellissa for Molly. I knw from the start that Molly was the perfect match for Jason and i'm glad he came to hs senses b4 it was 2 late for them to go their separate ways. Wishing them best of luck.

I watch the wedding and was wonder. What was the name of the song was playing went they said they vows? Who sang it to? What was the song they dance to for the first dance together?

never saw the bachelor epoisode yet only the one than finished with you and deanna that finsh recently but an lookiin forward to it even thou i saw now on the internet who you choose but am really happy you found happyness you deserve it

im so glad you two are together. nice job jason dumping melissa for molly i didnt like melissa at all she was to childish on the bachelor. i wish you and molly the best of luck you two belong together i think. if you ever do get married you two that would be awesome. im fans of both of yours. best of luck to both of you. you both deserve to be happy together and i think ty is so cute nice job again picking molly at the end of everything. good choice.

jason,i was so happy when you and melissa didnt get married.i think she was a phony all along,and used this show as a stepping stone to be noticed,and try and gain stardom..she knew this man she now is engaged to as told by her on t.v. before she met you and believe she still wouldn't have really married you even though she accepted the proposal. she probably was cool with you after the show was over because she had him in the back of her mind.she knew before you were both on the bachelor show it wasn't working&would be breaking it off.she thinks the public is nieve.obviously you weren;t sensing any real relationship or attachment or committment from her and knew you two didn't click after the show was over but acted so surprised?i was very happy for your mature and wise decision and did what you had to do for you and your son, and she certainly picked herself up suspiciously quick for someone who claims she was shocked and called you a stupid s.o.b on national t.v.. i'm pro

i think jason should of picked melissa! but its his decision and i hope that he knows that a bunch of us were mad at him!!!!!!!!:(

It was clear to watchers from the start that Molly was the best choice, with Jillian a close second. It is wrong for people to be so critical of Jason for coming to his senses. The really cruel thing would have been for him to continue with Melissa when it was not working.
While Melissa is very talented, she also seemed immature and not really ready for the stepmom role.
