This is Melissa Rycroft. She used to be a cheerleader with the Dallas Cowboys, and hails from that fine state of Texas.
But much as we love cheerleaders, that's not how we know her.
Rycroft was a contestant on Season 13 of The Bachelor. She actually earned Jason Mesnick's final rose and enjoyed a few weeks of happiness. Until he dumped her on national TV for another Bachelor suitor, that is. Ouch!
But that's okay, M. Ry bounced back and is now engaged to Tye Strickland.
Melissa quickly became a national sensation, too. Her first step after having her heart broken for all to see? Rycroft joined season eight of Dancing with the Stars. She performed very well on it, finishing in third place.

Other posters have stated that they think Melissa looks like DeAnna. Until just now, I thought they needed their eyes checked. But, look at the pictures of Melissa in a a red bikini on the thinkfashion.com site. The resemblance is unbelievable.

Mel looks a little (and acts a lot) like the other cheerleader - the one they always referred to as "Jin" - but whose name is Jenni Croft.
Mel only became a cheerleader through another Reality TV series called "Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team" - she's not a real cheerleader and, incidentally, she's not actually a teacher (as she claims she is) either.

Actually, just because she became a cheerleader on that reality show doesn't mean she was not a "real" cheerleader. All those girls who made the team were a part of the squad as you can see on the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader sight. And Melissa never said she was a teacher she said that she wanted to go back to school to get her teaching certificate and teach in the future. Pay attention people.

Melissa has alot more style that DeAnna did. After all, what goof ball would leave a man like Jason empty handed at the rose ceremony? She is definitely an air head. She needs to trot her little self back to where she came from and learn from her mistakes. I know Jason is smarter than that and he and Melissa will live happily ever after with Ty.
