I just think that her family have not brought her or her sister up properly…her sister has had a proper breakdown, her mum is actually useless and now she is giving birth when shes still a child.

She is not a whore she is a young girl who got pregnant when she shouldn’t have. She is way more lucky than other pregnant teens because she has resources most other teens don’t. I know some teen moms have made it work and that’s good, but they are not the majority. I do think that she should hold off on the marriage, though. The odds are definatly against her on that. Everyone needs to remember that there is a baby involved, not just her being a “teen mom” and that this unborn child could read all of the negative comments years down the road and think of itself as an outcast. No, I do not agree with teens having sex, but it has happened and God thought that baby had to come for a reason. We just have to wait and see.

Yes, maybe it is her mother’s fault for not being more aware of the fact they may have been sexually active. You can easily get access to many forms of birth control, i am assuming ESPECIALLY if you are a major celebrity. Yet, birth control is not completly fool proof. Many of us have our scares even if we are using protection and are careful. How many people have had sex as teenagers, how many of you could have been pregnant at this age also. I actually was a teenager at one time. Instead of sleeping around, I stayed in school and learned HOW TO SPELL amongst other things. I graduated with honors, made good choices, got married and THEN HAD MY CHILDREN. I had my son when I was only 19…..he’s fixen to turn 11 and is on the honor roll at school…I must have done something right. I had bad roll models of being a parent but I have not repeated any of there mistakes. You can’t look at the people in her life and assume that Jamie-Lynn is going to do the same things. I think Jamie is going to be a great mom. She’s going to have a lot of support systems. I respect her for keeping her baby and keeping her head held high regardless of all the nonsense that everyone is saying about her. The fact is that Jamie is the most level-headed person in that entire family. I think that she’s going to learn a lot from everything she’s going through. Having a baby is the hardest thing a teenage girl can go through. She did it alone. If people are going to talk shit about anyone, it should be her low life ex-boyfriend who was enough of a coward to make her go through this alone. She didn’t make that baby herself. Well… Everyone keeps saying its horrible that she’s pregnant (well she’s had the baby now but..) HONESTLY… WOULD YOU RATHER HER HAD AN ABORTION? I think she is making the “grown up” decision and taking responsibility for her actions.. She could have easily had an abortion and that been the end of it but she has taken responsibility and chosen to have this baby and raise her. First off, magazines tell lies or exaggerate so many things when you are in the lime-light. Second of all, women/girls were getting married and pregnant around the age of 16 since the beginning of time and none of us would be here if that didn’t happen. Life expectancy was shorter back then of course, yet what makes a girl of 16/17 any different from then until now? Amish and even many other cultures still allow teen marriages and pregnancy. I had my son at 19, his father and I are not together but here I am at 26, married and I found out I will never have a child in my life again. I thank God I had my son every day of my life. He was a gift and I learned the meaning of unconditional love while pregnant with him. His father and I are still friends and now that he is married too, his wife provided him with another son and half brother to our son. Something my child deserved but I can never give him was a sibling. Stop being so condenscending for things happen for a reason. Not everyone turns out like their parents or raise their children the same, sometimes things are a blessing in disguise. Jamie Lynn is only being punished by the media and most likely contradicting people of the world due to her status of being famous and part of the reknown Spears family. Let her be, let her love her baby, let her grow up and make her choices in life without such bitterness. She may end up like me…never to have a baby again, whether with Casey(if it works or not) or with a man she falls in love with and marries as she gets older.
