Earlier today, we reported that Virginia shooting suspect Vester Flanagan had committed suicide while on the run from police.
Now, several media outlets are reporting that Flanagan is still alive, and has been hospitalized in "very critical condition."
Flanagan – a disgruntled ex-employee of WDBJ News in Roanoake, Virginia – shot and killed Alison Parker and Adam Ward during alive telecast this morning.
Parker and Ward were both former co-worker’s of Flanagan’s. He detailed his grudges against them in a chilling online tirade following the shooting.
A third woman – a member of Roanoke’s chamber of commerce who was being interviewed for the segment – was also shot in the attack, but is expected to survive.
We’ll have updates on Flanagan’s condition as more information becomes available.
