Unfortunately, a handful of celebrities have reacted in negative fashion to the reveal of Caitlyn Jenner on the cover of this month’s Vanity Fair.
Geraldo Rivera compared Caitlyn to Kris Humphries, while Drake Bell Tweeted that he would not refer to Bruce by his new name.
But Jon Stewart has taken aim at those covering Caitlyn Jenner, not those criticizing her.
"Caitlyn, when you were a man, we could talk about your athleticism, your business acumen," the comedian said on Tuesday’s episode of The Daily Show. "But now you’re a woman and your looks are really the only thing we care about."
Stewart proceeded to call out so-called journalists for discussing Jenner’s "comparative f—ability," comparing her to Jessica Lange and, of course, Kim Kardashian.
He concluded:
"Caitlyn Jenner, congratulations. Welcome to being a woman in America."
