We’re living in interesting times for the US.

And by "interesting," we mean this actually might be last call for the 239-year party we call America.

As you’ve probably heard, Kanye West announced that he’s running for president at the VMAs on Sunday night. At first, we thought he was joking, then we remembered he’s Kanye.

In the days since, ‘Ye has drawn a lot of comparisons to Donald Trump, and with good reason – they’re both entertaining, but almost certainly mentally ill individuals, who shouldn’t be trusted to run a Dairy Queen, let alone the United States.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Trump claimed that he and Yeezy are friends from way back, and though he delusionally claims that every celebrity loves him, in this case we’re inclined to believe the Donald.

You might be saying, "Hey, aren’t their ideological beliefs totally at odds with one another?" to which we say:

Have you not realized we’re living in a post-policy age, in which a politician’s swag is more important than his platform?

In a world that makes sense, Trump would take issue with the fact that Kanye and Kim Kardashian support Hillary Clinton.

In this world, Trump is a former Hillary supporter himself.

This message has been brought to you by canned goods: Stock up on ’em, because the end is nigh!
