We told you before it was officially announced, folks: Denise Richards is joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
All of the Real Housewives are stars as part of the franchise, but Richards will be among those who were famous for years and years as actresses before they stepped into the world of reality television.
That is why she has reportedly secured a first-rate contract.
We have the details on that below … along with a report from RadarOnline that says that producers are encouraging the other Housewives to not hold back on account of Richards’ celebrity status.
Well, at least one of the actress’ new costars is already prepared to throw down without pulling any punches.
There’s drama afoot. Take a look:
So, Denise Richards is joining RHOBH’s cast

Producers are banking a lot on Denise being a success on the show
By banking, we mean cash

It’s reported that Denise is getting $1 million for her first season, and even a four-season guarantee.
That’s music to her ears

Denise is apparently a huge fan of the series, but everybody likes money
And producers have a request for the cast

According to RadarOnline, “Producers have told them they want the drama and not to hold back,” the insider says. “Basically, they donâÂÂt want them to be kissing her ass.”
One cast member has already volunteered

“Erika has already stood up,” RadarOnline’s source says. “And said sheâÂÂd treat Denise the same as anyone else.âÂÂ
Erika Jayne is down to throw down

Erika is willing to do conflict with any celebrity. Per the insider: “She said, âÂÂIf I donâÂÂt like her, I donâÂÂt like her.â”
It sounds like Erika already has some resentments

The source says that “Erika is already annoyed that so many actresses are on the show.”
That sounds like a specific dig

After all, Lisa Rinna is an actress.
Though Lisa is on the show for more than just her fame
Lisa is entertaining — and easy to look upon, if you catch our meaning.
But Erika had an even more specific dig

Apparently, Erika has a particular gripe about her actress costars: “She says itâÂÂs turned into a soap opera.”
That sounds like a swipe at Eileen

Last year, Eileen Davidson announced that she would not return to RHOBH. Eileen appears on not one but three soap operas. There are only four traditional soap operas left, and she’s in 75% of them.
Of course, Erika wasn’t digging at Eileen

Not only was Eileen reduced to guest status in Season 8, making her no longer a true Housewife (except in our hearts!), but she and Erika were BFFs. Erika basically wailed a funeral dirge when Eileen announced her departure.
It sounds like Denise is going to be a target for drama from day one

That said … there’s no actual guarantee that Erika will dislike Denise enough to feud with her, right? But since the whole franchise is built upon the concept of rich women being mean to each other, you can be sure that someone or another will find a bone to pick with her.
