Take It Away, Auds
Here are “5 things you wouldn’t know about us from following us on social media,” the reality star and mother of one wrote to open her intriguing post.
Number-One:
“After the first time Jeremy said “I love you” it took me a full year to say it back,” she writes. A full year, huh? That must have been sort of awkward.
A Follow-Up
Adds Audrey in regard to this point: “Needless to say, I had some walls up. But Jeremy continued to pursue me in patient anticipation of ‘demo day.'” Hehe, what a cute way to put it.
Number-Two:
“For the first year of our marriage my job required me to wake up at 2:30 am,” she writes. YIKES, right?!? We cannot imagine.
The Wake-Up Sucked…
… but Jeremy ruled! “Everyday, Jeremy woke up with me to kiss me goodbye. Sometimes he even got up just to make me coffee while I put on my slacks and attempted to look business professional. Mega husband brownie points.”
Number-Three:
“We are masters at playing devils advocate in conversations,” Audrey writes, revealing a lot of insight into her marriage and how she and Jeremy go about their discussions/debates.
Another Elaboration
“Most of our conflict stems from debating points that we aren’t even sure we believe.” This is probably helpful, however. It allows the couple to see things from all sides.
Number-Four
“Every week we do our marriage journal (Navigator’s Council) and it has been the most impactful tool for communication in our marriage.” Audrey has mentioned this in the past. Would you ever consider anything like it?
Number-Five
“Every year we write each other letters on our anniversary to be read the following year,” says Audrey to her followers on social media.
What an Interesting Idea, Right?
We assume these letters express gratitude for their partner and maybe also hopes/goals for their relationship, so they can be revisted a year later and they can see if these goals were met.
Asks Audrey:
“What’s one thing that people wouldn’t know about your relationship from following your feed?” We’ll need to think about that one and get back to her.
Book It!
You will be able to learn even more about Audrey and Jeremy when their memoir comes out. It does not yet have a title or release date, but both halves of this couple have been talking it up for weeks.
They’re Writing a Book?
Yes, they’re writing a book! Audrey explained it a bit as follows: “We feel so honored to be working with @zondervan publishing to share our love story and all the things we learned on our journey from our first date to I Do. God is the author of our love story, but we hope to be creative, encouraging, and faithful narrators.”
She Then Also Asked:
“If you could describe your love story in one word what would it be?” One word?!? Come on, Auds. We’ll need some time to think about this one as well.
