No these 23 celebrities aren’t dead, though you probably thought they were.
From teen heart-throbs to Academy Award Winners, these stars just haven’t been doing much lately. Check out our slideshow below to find out who they are!
Pauly Shore Remember this guy? It’s been a while since we’ve seen Pauly Shore, and even longer since the comedien has starred in anything remotely well-known. Okay, maybe that’s an overstatement for Encino Man, Son-in-Law, and Bio-Dome, but you get the idea.
Amanda Bynes Seriously, what the heck happened to Amanda Bynes? She hasn’t appeared on any screen since 2010. She announced that she was retiring from acting back in 2012. She’s been dealing with some pretty serious personal problems for a while.
David Schwimmer Nothing can compare to David Schwimmer’s role as Ross on Friends, but we’re pretty bummed he hasn’t done much since then. He is, however, set to appear on a new series in 2016.
Alexis Bledel The Gilmore Girls star resurfaced for a reunion this summer, but otherwise, it seems like Alexis Bledel has been pretty dormant. She did make a few appearances as a not-so-Rory-like character on Mad Men, but we hoped she’d do so much more after Gilmore Girls ended.
Bridget Fonda Bridget Fonda has disappeared, but she’s still very much alive. The actress, known for her roles in The Godfather Part III, Single White Female, and Jackie Brown, hasn’t appeared on our screens in over 10 years.
Dave Chappelle (Getty Images) Where have you been, Dave Chappelle? Though he returned to stand-up a couple of years ago, he seems to have fallen offf the map ever since he left Chappelle’s Show.
Goldie Hawn The once popular actress, Goldie Hawn, hasn’t done much lately at all. Her last major film was the Banger Sisters in 2002, and she was the voice of Peggy McGee in Phineas and Ferb in 2013. We haven’t seen her since.
Jack Nicholson All work and no play? Jack Nicholson used to be everywhere, starring in more films than we can count, from Chinatown to The Shining and then The Bucket List — to name a few. Sadly, he hasn’t starred in a film since 2010.
Shelley Duvall Speaking of The Shining, remember Shelley Duvall? The actress, who starred in both The Shining and Popeye, and later brought us Faerie Tale Theatre, hasn’t had a role since 2002.
Kevin Jonas We haven’t heard much out this guy lately. After the Jonas Brothers split up in 2012, he starred briefly in his own reality series with his new wife. Otherwise, things have basicaly be quiet for Kevin Jonas.

Lark Voorhies The Saved by the Bell star has pretty much just fallen off our radar. Lark Voorhies had a few guest appareances after Saved by the Bell ended, but she really hasn’t done much since.
John Travolta Crazy, right? Who knew the time would come when we wouldn’t be seeing much of John Travolta anymore? He is, fortunately, set to star in a new series in 2016. We’re pretty excited about it.
Jonathan Taylor Thomas This 90s teen heart-throb used to show up everywhere. Aside from a few guest appearances on Last Man Standing, he hasn’t been on our screens since 2005.
T.R. Knight It was totally devastating with George O’Malley was killed off on Grey’s Anatomy years ago, but it’s maybe even more devastating that T.R. Knight hasn’t had many roles since.
Matthew Fox We’re as surprised as you are that Matthew Fox’s role as Jack Shepherd on Lost didn’t lead hiim to even bigger things after the show ended. He’s done a couple of movies, but we hoped for more.
Meg Ryan The actress known for roles in When Harry met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, and You’ve Got Mail seems as though she’s all but disappeared. The good news is she has an upcoming film, Ithaca, that will also star Tom Hanks.
Devon Sawa Another teen heart-throb the 90s, Devon Sawa starred in all sorts of films including Casper, Now and Then, and Final Destination. He sure seemed like he’d be doing a lot more these days than he is.
