TomKat Holiday Card Proves ‘Even More Boring’ Than Their Fake Marriage
Nothing Says ‘Season’s Greetings!’ Like A Bland Picture Of Black Satiny Ribbon

Money makes the world go round, and there’s seemingly no limit to what an American Express Black card-carrier can accomplish. Until now, that is! Apparently, it seems the oodles and oodles of cash accrued (and then pledged to the church?) by Scientologist mega-couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has nonetheless failed to “buy” them an innovative approach to dull seasonal mass-mailings. Case in point: This blah, unimaginative holiday card (obtained by Us!)

Where are the awkwardly staged Sears family portraits? The pictures of a rosy-cheeked Suri Cruise sitting atop Santa’s knee? The adorable candids of mother and daughter frolicking in the snow (okay, fine, polluted Los Angeles beach) flashing matching smiles and and identical haircuts? The biological father grinning proudly, eyes wide with wonderment at the miracle of creation modern technology, arms wrapped firmly/protectively around his pretend-wife’s waist?

It’s not like the Cruises would have had any trouble turning up a decent photo. For chrissakes, there’s a paparazzi bonanza practically every time Suri spits up or breaks in a new pair of Baby Uggs.

And while we’re critiquing, what’s up with signing the card “Tom, Kate, Bella, Connor and Suri?” Sure, we get that they’re technically Tom/Nicole have adopted children, but they’re not particularly adorable or newsworthy, are they?

Meanwhile, Kate? Who’s that chick? Sorry, Ms. Cruise, but you’ll always be known as Katie Holmes to us. Or at least as “Joey” from Dawson’s Creek, that pretty, tomboyish girl who communicates her teenage angst through polysyllabic diatribes and talks out of only one side of her mouth.

It wouldn’t matter what the card looked like, would it? You would never have thought it was nice. This is just another attack on this couple.

They probably did not want to produce anything that was too creative because the likes of you would find something wrong with that as well. Don’t you have some dumpsters to go through to find some really good stuff?

I don’t get it. What is the value of this kind of criticism? Why is any couple’s marriage anyone’s business but their own? Why should anyone care what someone else’s personal theology is? And why is a wish for joy worth ridicule?

It would not have mattered what the Cruises had on their card (considering they do not celebrate Xmas) idiots like you would find everything to criticise and be mean. Why can’t you just make a report without adding such mean spirited comments. Are you trying to be a clone of Perez Hilton?
