Remember that little flood TVNewser told us about over at FNC this morning? The one that conjured up the amazing mental picture of Bill O’Reilly strapping on his orange floaty arm-bands, which was quickly followed by the image of a waterlogged Roger Ailes doing the doggie paddle while a nose-plug wearing Geraldo reclines on one of those giant, rubber noodles, alternately splashing a bikini-clad Greta Van Susteren and stroking his giant mustache?

Well, apparently it may have all been a slight *cough* exaggeration.

TVNewser reported this morning that FNC???s newsroom, located underground, was flooded. ICN looked into this report of flooding at FNC and it turns out there is none. A FOX executive explained that there???s only a minor leak in the newsroom with a tarp covering a small area…However, that???s the extent???nothing is wrong with the floors and the carpet is intact, just like it had been yesterday. All the shows are being produced as normal from their designated studios/control rooms.

Okay, fine. So, technically, there’s no flood. Yet! But we’re willing to bet that if the nefarious Rupert Murdoch continues with his evil world domination ways, there’s going to be major karmic consequences.

Either that, or you know, he’ll buy the New York Times from the Sulzbergers (or at least dethrone it) and eventually own and operate every single reliable source in the world, and even a couple of (gulp) crappy, unreliable blogs…
