Money Is Money
white supremacist donation is still green to ron paul

Ron Paul has accepted a $500 campaign donation from a white supremacist. Hey, it’s a free market, baby!

Fortunately, the decision has no political consequences because Ron Paul can???t be bought. Also Ron Paul can???t win this presidency.

Jesse Benton, a Paul spokesman said:

Dr. Paul stands for freedom, peace, prosperity and inalienable rights. If someone with small ideologies happens to contribute money to Ron, thinking he can influence Ron in any way, he’s wasted his money. ??? Ron is going to take the money and try to spread the message of freedom.

Yeah, what is a small ideology like hate is nothing compared with the message of freedom?

Yeah, Ron Paul should give the money back so that person can print out materials to spread more hate. Or maybe RP could give the money back and the hater guy could take the $500.00 and use it to throw a white supremicist party. Yeah, RP makes no sense and should definetly give the money back. How kooky.

Yeah. How would the press spin it, if Dr. Paul sent that racist’s money back, and the next day Don Black bought a gun with it, and shot up a black church? I’d rather Dr. Paul keep the money. This is NOT an issue for me. This is a media creation. When the same clown gave money to Bush, no one made a peep.

No matter what your religion/sex/sexual orientation/political beliefs are, when you read Dr. Paul’s beliefs and hear him talk, you are sold on this man. He has a spotless record so the main stream media are trying to scrape the bottom of the barrel for “dirt”. If you know anything about Dr. Paul, you know he’s about freedom. I say look at the issues. America’s finances are a house of cards. We need change.
Google Ron Paul and look at his website.

By the way I forgot to mention from my last post that I am a middle aged Hispanic female. I’m not offended by the donation. Please Mr. Black give more. The $500.00 from the “supremacist” will be $500.00 less that he has to spend and $500.00 more for Dr. Paul to spread freedom.

The media and Ron Paul haters are just using this as an opportunity to smear the man. It’s not working. They attempt to make Ron Paul guilty by association simply due to a single donation. So, the campaign receives $500 and that automatically makes hima racist? Please! The logic just isn’t there. And to go by that train of thought, the ACLU must be racists because they defend the right of the KKK to assemble:

I am wondering why Jossip has it out for Ron Paul. Far be it for me to assume your editors are not up to date on their political news, only because they run a silly gossip site, but never the less. It seems every time I visit Jossip it’s a lot of Ron Paul bashing and Britney’s vagina. It’s hard to take the opinion of someone who puts those on the same page, as newsworthy. Looking around on the political frontier, there are A LOT more “gossipy” headlines about various other politicians that never seem to make the cut. It’s fine to have an agenda, it is your site, but at least but open and up front about it. Why not comment on all the money Mitt Romney is gathering from supporters who hate gays and lesbians, to the point their wished them dead. Or all the old mormons who still think that black people are devils, returned to Earth? Or maybe the war mongers that support Rudy and his message of hyper jingoism? What about the racist black folks that support Obama, only because he is black? Paul has a distinct message against bigotry, racial intolerance and the like, so if he can convince a racist to give him AND his ideals money, then something is going right. Just a thought.

Ron Paul vs. The Philosophically Bankrupt

After reading the name-calling and other non sequiturs from the anti-Ron Paul crowd, I am of the view that their hostility arises less from his opposition to war, or the direction American foreign policy has taken for decades, or any of the other specific programs he has criticized. What troubles them the most is that Paul has a philosophically-principled integrity in what he advocates and that, to challenge him, one must be prepared to deal with him at that higher level.

But modern political discourse long ago gave up on principles, in favor of the pursuit of power as a sufficient end. There is an intellectual bankruptcy exhibited by writers and speakers on the political “left,” “right,” or “middle.” Competing ideas and values that once engaged the minds of thoughtful men and women have given way to little more than pronouncements on behalf of narrowly-defined political programs; the validity of a proposition no longer depends upon reasoned analysis, but upon the outcome of public opinion polls.

Ron Paul’s campaign interjects an energized, principled inquiry into the political realm, an undertaking for which men and women with no philosophic center or rigorous minds find themselves woefully ill-prepared.
