Oribe / Jossip

Oribe
Wed / 15 Mar 2006

Forget Brad splitting with Jen, Jessica splitting from Nick, and, most heartbreakingly, Anna Nicole Smith splitting from reality. With all the recent buzz over celebrites BFFing their hairstylists, our heart goes out to Jennifer Lopez — who has cut ties to Oribe, the hair guru responsible for her $10,000-a-day extensions.

The Latin beauty has ditched regular stylist Oribe, who charges $10,000-a-day for his services, after a string of alleged bust-ups. However, sources close to J.Lo deny there has been any rift and insists the two parted company amicably.

One insider said: ‘There was no fight – she just stopped using him.’

No fight? An amicable split? We’ve seen enough Bravo promo clips for Jonathan Antin to know bullshit when we see it — hair politics are as greasy, sticky, and hard to escape as the Bumble & bumble product mucking things up in the first place.
