Let’s hope that actress Uma Thurman has stepped up her security. Perez Hilton is reporting that Uma’s convicted stalker, Jack Jordan is on the loose and was spotted in the same area as Thurman.
Currently Uma is in New York City working on a new movie and may encounter a not so welcome guest. Jordan, who was tried in court for stalking Uma, was put on probation with the stipulation that he not leave Maryland and that he must stay with his parents.
Perez didn’t say anything about Jordan’s mom and dad being along on a family vacation. The star may be in for some sleepless nights having to worry about that crazy a!* watching her every move.
Justice Carro signaled early in Monday’s hearing that he might go easy on Mr. Jordan by telling the court officers to take off his handcuffs. After lawyers for both sides made their arguments, Mr. Jordan gave a brief statement as his parents watched from the second row of the courtroom. (His mother covered her face the entire time as tears streamed.)
Mr. Jordan, who has a undergraduate degree in English from the University of Chicago told the judge that his heart had been “filled with fear” at Rikers and that nothing good had come from his jail time. He apologized for his conduct and said, “My greatest wish is that I had known sooner that I was putting fear into the heart of” Ms. Thurman.
The fact that a grown man has been placed in the care of his parents is an unsettling thought. Look at what happened in the Jodie Foster case, where John Hinckley Jr., also in the care of his parents, tried to impress the actress by shooting President Ronald Reagan. Be very afraid Uma!
