If you watched the last episode of MTV‘s Total Request Live last night then you were in for a treat. Former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker phoned in and spoke with Carson Daly.
Barker, who sounded tired and a little slower than normal, said “I feel better every day” and thanked his fans for all of their support during this healing time.
Travis and DJ AM were the only two survivors in a plane crash on September 19th that killed 4 other people. Barker spent a month in the hospital after suffering severe burns.
Barker is getting back into the groove and has been in the studio working. Asked about his return to playing the drums, he said, “It was like riding a bike. It was really exciting to know I still had my chops.”
We are excited that Travis is doing so well and can’t wait to see what he has been working on.
