There is a scandal brewing on the ABC reality show “The Bachelor” and in a strange turn of events on Monday’s episode, one contestant ended under the bus. Viewers witnessed Rozlyn Papa, of Richmond Virginia, getting booted from the show amid allegations that she was having a romantic relationship with one of the producers.

Rozlyn has denied cheating on the season’s star Jake Pavelka and called it a ploy and a complete hoax. She said, “It seems they want the ratings.”

Papa, 28, was upset to be portrayed as a cheater and feared the fallout will have an adverse affect on her 7-year-old son. She admits that she and one of the producers were friends before she joined the cast and they remain close but claims she was given no advantage because of it.

Though viewers are left with the impression that she had an inappropriate sexual relationship with the producer, Papa insists that assertion is patently false. She said, “I would absolutely call him a good friend. I am happy to have him as a friend.”

Show host Chris Harrison called the situation “incredibly unfortunate.” He went on to say, “It was embarrassing for us. In fairness to Jake and for the other women, we said ‘Let’s nip this in the bud and take care of it.’ And that’s what we did.”
