As you’ve probably heard by now, Teresa Giudice is in prison. And as you would probably guess, it sounds like it royally sucks.
Teresa earns 12 cents an hour doing menial work, she reportedly hasn’t seen her two youngest daughters since getting locked up almost two weeks ago, and sources inside Danbury Correctional say that she’s likely being targeted by other prisoners because of her fame.
Like we said, lots of suck. And to make matters worse, a source close to Teresa told radar Online today that Giudice is detoxing prescription pills and going through withdrawal hell:
The insider says Teresa was taking Xanax and Valium “several times a day” and (bizarrely) using human growth hormones. Now it seems she’s paying the price:
“It’s going to be a major detox,” the source says. “I warned her about that. It’s going to be hell. It’s a really brutal withdrawal. She will get diarrhea. She will have actual DTs [delirium tremens].”
Yikes. Sounds like women’s prison isn’t nearly as entertaining as Orange is the New Black.
