Last week, the world was made brighter by photos that appeared to show Taylor Swift making out with Karlie Kloss.
Taylor and Karlie have been BFFs for some time now, and Swoss ‘shippers were overjoyed at the sight of Tay-Tay and KK swapping spit, but sadly, it seems we’ve been had:
“As my 25th birthday present from the media,” Taylor tweeted today. “I’d like for you to stop accusing all my friends of dating me. #thirsty”
Yes, Taylor says she’s not dating Karlie Kloss. Might as well just shut Twitter down, because as far as we can tell, that rumor was the one thing sustaining it over the past three days.
At least Taylor broke the bad news in the self-deprecating, wry tone we’ve come to expect from her tweets. We’re sure dating her talented gorgeous ass is something millions of men and women would love to be “accused” of.
Anyway, as a consolation prize, we get to see Taylor and Karlie take the stage together at the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday night. Watch, and dream of what might have been.
