With ‘Sex and the City 2’ set to release on May 27, 2010, we’re seeing magazine covers featuring the four lovely ladies who we’ve come to love not only on television but also on the big screen. This week EW gives a sneak peek at the sequel.
Actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, 45, Kim Cattrall, 53, Cynthia Nixon, 44, and Kristin Davis, 45, began their SATC adventures on HBO twelve years ago when the majority of the women were in their early 30’s. Time has marched on and two years ago they appeared in the first of two feature films, as 40-something women in New York City.
Apparently magazine editors and those marketing films don’t believe that we will accept that these women are aging gracefully, thus the huge push to Photoshop them to the nth degree.
Most of us gasped in horror at the recently released group poster. Now the latest cover of EW gives us pause as well.
