The beautiful Portia de Rossi is on the cover of Out magazine’s May issue. In her interview, the actress talks about her marriage to Ellen DeGeneres and the fact that they have made a decision about children.
After 5 years she admits, “There comes some pressure in your mid-30s, and you think, ‘Am I going to have kids so I don’t miss out on something that other people really seem to love?’ Or is it that ‘I really genuinely want to do this with my whole heart?’ I didn’t feel that my response was ‘yes’ to the latter.”
The ‘Arrested Development’ star continued, “You have to really want to have kids, and neither of us did. So it’s just going to be me and Ellen and no babies.”
She and Ellen are content with the life they live, “We’ve settled into happily married life. We really support each other in whatever we’re doing and we’re incredibly happy, which is why you don’t see us in the press so much. There’s no drama to report.”
Ellen is celebrating 10 years of the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ and Portia is getting ready for the return of ‘Arrested Development,’ where she will be reprising her role as Lindsay Bluth Funke.
Calling married life “blissful,” Portia claims she has never been happier than she is right now. You can read Portia’s full interview here.
