The two remaining member of the icon 60’s British singing group the Beatles, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney, will perform a duet at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

Starr, the Beatles’ legendary shaggy-haired drummer, will receive the 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award when the 56th annual Grammy show airs live on CBS January 26.

The popular English rock band was active for the decade spanning 1960-1970, selling 177 million certified albums. During the height of their popularity, the group received 7 Grammy Awards and an Academy Award for Best Original Score and later appeared in Time magazine’s compilation of 20th Century’s 100 Most Influential People.

Two members of the group are deceased: John Lennon was gunned down in front of his New York City apartment in 1980 and George Harrison succumbed to cancer in 2001.

Other performers slated to perform during the Grammys: Carole King, Sara Bareilles, John Legend, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, Rolling Stones, Metallica, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke, Willie Nelson and Black Shelton.
