The new reality show ‘Splash’ is proving to be quite dangerous. Former ‘Baywatch’ star Nicole Eggert is the latest celebrity contestant to sustain an injury while attempting a high dive.

On Thursday night’s show Nicole botched her high dive while attempting to do multiple black-flips. The dive went south and she ended up crashing into the water back first.

It was clear that Eggert was going to need help and EMT’s rushed to pull her out of the water. The actress was transported to an area hospital where she was monitored by doctors for internal injuries to her kidneys.

This isn’t the first time that Nicole suffered an injury on the show. Last month she was hurt while attempting to begin a dive from a headstand position. She told PEOPLE , It scared the crap out of me.”

Other contestants who have been hurt on the series include Chuy Bravo, Rory Bushfield and Katherine Webb. Last week Kareem Abdul Jabbar was pulled from the water but quickly recovered on the set.

Kendra Wilkinson quit the show early and tweeted, “Diving just isn’t my thing.”

Earlier this week Louie Anderson was brought back as the fan favorite when Webb bailed because of back problems.

This begs the question: Is this show too dangerous for non athletes with little training? It would seem so…
