The year 2009 was easily owned by Lady Gaga and 2010 seems to be panning out equally well for the singer and fashionista. She’s everywhere and hard to miss with her ridiculous costumes and antics, but did somebody forget to thank “the little people?” It seems she did.
Lady G is being sued for $35 million by her ex-boyfriend and musical producer Rob Fusari. He claims that he played a vital role in launching Gaga’s career and has not been adequately compensated for his services.
Fusari takes credit for Lady Gaga’s name as well as getting her a national record deal. According to Fusari, after they were no longer romantically linked, their business relationship went sour as well. Note to self : don’t mix business with pleasure.
He may well have aided Lady G with her career but he did not supply her with her talent or her solid work ethic. It seems a little sketchy that he would wait until now to sue her. She likely had good reason for parting ways with him. He seems a little money hungry if you ask us.
Not that Gaga couldn’t spare $35 million, but should she have to? It will be interesting to see how this case unfolds.
