Kris Jenner has been making the media rounds today to promote her new cookbook, but given everything that’s been going on with her family lately, she probably wasn’t surprised when her interviews turned to more personal matters.
Specifically, everyone wants to know if Bruce Jenner is getting a sex change, and Kris raised some eyebrows by giving changing responses to questions about Bruce’s rumored transition as the day went on.
First, Kris talked about Bruce sex change rumors with Hoda Kotb of the Today show and she adamantly maintained that there’s no truth to the chatter:
“It’s silly,” Kris said when asked if Bruce is “slowly developing” into a woman. “I mean, they’ve been saying that since the ’70s. You’d think it would, like, be cooked by now, I don’t know.”
Later in the day, however, the world’s most famous momager seemed far less sure of herself. In fact, when speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Kris confessed that she doesn’t know if Bruce is having a sex change.
“I don’t know what he’s going through right now,” Kris answered vaguely. “I think he’s just very happy and I think every time he makes a change in his life whether it’s emotional or physical or whatever he’s doing, somebody’s going to comment.”
Yes, all she said is she doesn’t know (which makes sense, as they Jenners are going through a divorce and probably aren’t having many late-night chats these days), but even so, you can expect the Internet to pick this up and run with it.
