ABC television personality Katie Couric and her boyfriend of one year, financier John Molner, took in the action at the US Open at the Billy Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York last night.

She tweeted a photo with Lithuanian player Ricardas Berankis, who lost his match to the top seed. Katie captioned the shot, “Just got beaten by Djokovic? How ’bout a hug? #USOpen”

The 56-year-old journalist was rocking some seriously funky pants with a sporty navy blazer. Fashion hit or miss?

Molner, 50, is head of mergers and acquisitions at Brown Brothers Harriman in New York. He hooked up with Katie after she ended a five year live-in relationship with Brooks Perlin, who was 17 years younger.

Couric’s husband Jay Monahan died of colon cancer in 1998. During his career, he covered law for NBC News.

When asked if she would consider walking down the aisle again, KC didn’t rule it out. “Maybe. I always thought I would remarry after my husband died but at this point, with my daughters grown, I’m not sure. But I would totally be open to it.”

The perky host of ‘Katie’ has two daughters, Ellie, 22, and Carrie, 17.

In all fairness to Mr. Molner, it turns out he really CAN smile:
