Jon Gosselin has spent the last several years trashing reality television because of the heavy toll it has taken on his eight children. That said … we were surprised to learn that he will appear on Season 4 of VH1’s ‘Couples Therapy.’
Make no mistake–his ex-wife Kate Gosselin will not be joining Jon. He and his girlfriend of two years, Liz Jannetta, signed on to showcase their issues.
During an interview with Philadelphia magazine, Jon explained his decision, “We needed the therapy for our relationship. We really couldn’t afford therapy… and it’s free therapy.” He failed to point out that he will be paid to appear – reportedly as much as $200,000.
The bitterness was evident when he mentioned his ex-wife Kate, “Everyone thinks I’m out to get Kate. I don’t give a f-ck! What would I get out of it? Everyone knows she’s an a–hole, you know what I mean? I don’t have to—she’s proven that!”
He added, “She tweets everything to the world about my children. I think it’s disgusting and awful. They can’t even have a normal life. Kate wants to still be on television. Too late honey. No one gives a f-ck, really!”
Jon had been employed as a waiter but has since been promoted to Maître d’ at the Black Dog in Beckersville, PA. He acknowledged that doing restaurant work “keeps me normal.”
VH1’s ‘Couples Therapy’ season 4 premieres on January 2, 2014. Check out Jon’s video teaser clip below:
