Tuesday was elimination night on the hit ABC reality show Dancing with the Stars. Things didn’t look good for former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner. That said, the eliminated performer turned out to be a real shocker.

Monday’s performance show brought a couple of surprises. Bristol Palin had her best showing of the season and Jennifer Grey struggled for the second week in a row.

Rock Week Performances

The judges didn’t hold back in chastising the Dirty Dancing star. Bruno likened her performance to “a woman having a nervous breakdown.” Carrie Ann said “you were way out of control” and cautioned her to “know your limits.”

Warner’s paso doble resonated with the audience, who showered him with prolonged applause. The judges didn’t feel so inclined and got booed for their negative comments.

Kurt spoke to the media about it after Monday’s show. He said: “It feels like this has happened a couple times now — we come out and we perform what we thought was a good dance and then get scores that aren’t so good. The thing that’s hard is when they make criticism like, ‘It just didn’t work,’ because we don’t really know what that means! It’s frustrating because it’s not constructive, and we don’t know what to make of it or how to improve.”

RESULTS: Shockingly, during the first five minutes of the show, Kurt Warner and Bristol Palin were declared safe. Also getting the green light for next week were Rick Fox, Brandy Norwood, Kyle Massey and Jennifer Grey.

Going home in Week 6 was Audrina Patridge.

Eliminated in previous weeks were David Hasselhoff, Michael Bolton, Margaret Cho, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and Florence Henderson.
