Week 7 on the ABC hit reality show Dancing With the Stars featured the six remaining contestants doing solo performances followed by a group dance as either Team Madonna or Team Gaga. See who got eliminated at the bottom of this post.
The performance of the night went to Evan Lysacek and his partner Anna Trebunskaya. Their tango earned them a perfect score of 30 and a declaration from the stodgy Len Goodman, “That was the best dance of the season.” Check it out on video below.
Tied with 27 after their first performance were couples Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy with their quickstep, and Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough, who performed a waltz. These couples have been neck and neck throughout the competition.
Cheryl Burke has made great strides with her NFL partner Chad Ochocinco, whose performances have improved each week. They earned 25 to tie with comedian Niecy Nash and per pro partner Louis Van Amstel.
At the bottom after the first performance were Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood, earning a 24 for their waltz. The judges complimented the blonde bombshell of her ability to always get the character of the dance right. While Carrie Ann thought her extension was gorgeous, Len got a laugh when her told her she needs to “firm up”.
Then it was on to the group cha cha’s. Team Gaga was comprised of Nicole, Pamela and Chad. They earned an impressive 27 from the judges for their sexy and energetic performance. Team Madonna featured Niecy, Erin and Evan, who earned 24. Poor Niecy got stuck wearing a skimpy little body suit that flattered the shapes of Erin and Evan’s pro partner Anna, but did nothing for Nash. We’re not sure why Erin chose black lacy leggings either…odd.
When the scores were added together it was obvious that the luck of the draw played a part in the way the standings changed. Evan and Nicole are tied with 54. Chad is next with 52. Tied with 51 are Erin and Pam, and bringing up the rear is Niecy with 49. Chad and Nicole gained the most ground, while Erin plummeted.

UPDATE: May 4th – eliminated and heading home are Pamela Anderson and her pro partner Damian Whitewood. Also in the bottom two were Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. They will dance for at least one more week.
