Chris Pine appeared in a New Zealand court, where he pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. Pine was sentenced to a 6 months with a suspended license and a fine.
Police pulled over Pine early on March 1, after he attended a party to celebrate wrapping filming on the movie Z for Zachariah. His blood alcohol level was .11 — well over New Zealand’s legal limit of .08.
The judge said that Pine appeared, “entirely remorseful”, as he stood silently and let his lawyer, Marilyn Gilchrist, enter a plea for him.
Pine stopped to sign a few autographs after the sentencing, appearing relaxed.
