Chris Daughtry returned to the stage that launced his career for the premiere performance of his latest single “September” from his second album “Leave This Town.”
Daughtry returned to American Idol, showing a softer side and waxing a bit nostalgic. He told Idol host Ryan Seacrest after the performance that the song is about his childhood and recalling it’s simplicity.
When asked by Seacrest his advice to the remaining contestants, Daughtry said, they should refuse to compromise and “stick to what’s true to you.”
