Britney Spears‘ Circus album which was originally scheduled to be released by the end of the year, is now set for an early release.
Record company Jive/Zomba announced yesterday that the album will drop on December 2, which also happens to be Britney’s 27th birthday.
The album’s first single, “Womanizer,” will hit the airwaves on September 22.
The release of Circus comes on the heels of Britney’s triple win at the MTV Video Music Awards – Video of the Year, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video, for her song “Piece of Me.”
Britney says Circus, her sixth studio album, is her “best work ever.”
