The big question looming over the end of The Good Wife Season 6 Episode 3 is whether or not Alicia Florrick will run for the office of State’s Attorney.
She considered it, put the idea aside, but is now reconsidering thanks to some not so gentle nudging from Castro. His invocation of the memory of her dead lover made a pretty convincing argument, as did Gloria Steinem’s question as to why she wouldn’t run if she knew she would do a good job.
One thing’s for certain, if Alicia Florrick were the State’s Attorney, witnesses wouldn’t disappear. That’s what happened in Cary’s case, causing the pre-trial service to be the deciding factor in the trial.
The judge sided with the defense, which wasn’t shocking. Cary, however, is still convinced that people are out to get him.
Because of his trial, Alicia and Dean have to take on one of Cary’s clients, a man who claims a neighbor stole and planted his seeds.
The two grow tired of hearing their lawyers argue, which is the service for which the lawyers were hired, and decide to go to God with their troubles. Instead of in a courtroom, they work out their differences in a Church.
Alicia turns to Grace for help with Bible verses to make her case.
In the end, the two settle their differences and Alicia is left, once again, with her decision to run for State’s Attorney. The protesting and claiming she’s not going to run is almost certainly a sign that she will.
Guess we’ll have to watch The Good Wife online to find out.
