For you American Horror Story fans, rumors of the setting for season 4 have been running like crazy! Fans had originally been speculating that the upcoming season would be set at a circus, but the rumors kept getting shut down. In a recent Nerdist podcast, AHS writer Douglas Petrie let it slip that season 4 would have a carnival setting!
When a podcast guest said she heard a rumor that the new season was set at a carnival, Petrie spilled the beans. “Yes,” Petrie said when asked if it was set at a carnival. “It doesn’t have a title, but that’s the idea. Very roughly, that’s the idea.”
Ryan Murphy, the series co-creator, also spilled to Entertainment Weekly that this season would have a 1950s vibe!
A carnival set in the 1950s sounds pretty awesome. Except for the scary clown and carnie thing. Shudder.
