The trend this year for Hollywood celebrities has been the super short pixie cut but one actress who won’t be trying out that particular style is Kate Hudson.
We’ve seen the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Miley Cyrus, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson, Jaime Pressly, Kristin Chenoweth and Pamela Anderson chop off their long locks in 2013.
Hudson is the Almay brand ambassador so she is totally up on all things makeup related. Hair, according to the gorgeous blonde actress, is a totally different story.
She admits, “I can keep up with the makeup. The hair stuff, that’s a low point for me in terms of my ability. I’m either in a bun or having someone else figure it out.”
When it was suggested that a pixie cut might be a great low-maintenance alternative, she was quick to respond, “No, not for me. If I had to do it for a role maybe, but I wouldn’t just do a pixie. I like having long hair and I don’t know how my ears would look in a pixie. I don’t know if it’s right for me.”
We found a recent red carpet photo of Kate with her hair pulled back — giving a pretty good indication of what she might look like with very short hair. Quite frankly, her ears don’t look much different than Anne Hathaway’s.
What do you think? Should Kate Hudson stick with her long tresses or could she pull off the trendy ultra short hairdo that is currently all the rage?
