‘Wrecking Ball’ singer Miley Cyrus is currently the front-runner for the prestigious TIME Person of the Year cover that will be revealed on December 11, 2013.

Editors are asking for input from readers as they make their final decision on who “most influenced the news this year for better or worse.”

Cyrus, 21, has received 28% of the votes thus far — ahead of Hindu nationalist Norendra Modi, NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, Angelina Jolie, ‘Breaking Bad’ creator Vince Gilligan, Royal baby Prince George and comedic talk show host Jimmy Fallon.

Previous winners include Barack Obama, Mark Zuckerberg, Ben Bernanke, Vladimir Putin, George W. Bush, Rudolph Giuliani as well as ‘The Good Samaritans,’ ‘You,’ and ‘The Protester.’

In case you missed it, we’ve included a couple of images that the BANGERZ artist posted on Twitter following her performance Sunday night at the American Music Awards. The too-cute giant lip-syncing kitty managed a wink and some tongue action.

Official voting closes at 11:59 p.m. on December 4. We’ve added a link so that you can cast your vote for your 2013 #POTY pick.
