Joan Rivers hit Twitter today to retaliate against ‘Hunger Games’ actress Jennifer Lawrence for a pointed criticism against E! Fashion Police.
While traveling in Europe to promote ‘Catching Fire,’ the Academy Award-winning celebrity told Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, “Shows like the Fashion Police are just showing these generations of young people to judge people based on things that don’t matter. They put values in all the things that are wrong and show that it’s okay to just point at people and call them ugly and call them fat and they call it fun.”
The veteran comedian began her social media diss fest with this: “It’s funny how Jennifer Lawrence loved @EFashionPolice during Awards Season when we were complimenting her every single week…”
“But now that she has a movie to promote, suddenly we’re picking on all those poor, helpless actors. WAIT! It just dawn on me why Jennifer Lawrence fell on her way up to the stage to get her Oscar. She tripped over her own arrogance.”
Joan didn’t stop there. She took a shot at another Hollywood A-Lister with this snarky tweet, “Nicole Kidman said Tom Cruise wasn’t the love of her life. WHAT?! A rich gay guy who always works and never wants sex? That’s my dream man!”
