Irish actor Jamie Dornan has been cast as the new Christian Grey in the screen adaptation of E.L. James’ ‘Fifty Shades of Grey.’

He will begin filming with co-star Dakota Johnson in Vancouver on Nov. 13, 2013. According to producer Michael De Luca, filming was pushed back a week when ‘Sons of Anarchy’ actor Charlie Hunnam walked away from the project in an eleventh hour decision that was announced two weeks ago.

The former ‘Once Upon A Time’ celeb was born in Northern Ireland and got his start as a male model for Calvin Klein, Dior and Armani. He also performed in the folk band Sons of Jim until the group disbaned in 2009.

Dornan began dating English actress Keira Knightley in 2003 when they met during an Asprey photoshoot. During their two year relationship she hooked him up with her agent at PFD.

He has also been romantically linked to Lindsay Lohan, Kate Moss and Sienna Miller.

Jamie’s big U.S. break came in 2011 when he appeared in eight episodes of the ABC television series ‘Once Upon A Time,’ playing Sheriff Graham.

He is currently starring in the drama series ‘The Fall’ broadcast in Ireland and the UK. The show will begin filming a second season in January 2014.
