Charlie Sheen has filmed 50 episodes of ‘Anger Management,’ bringing him halfway to his goal of achieving a decidedly lucrative syndication deal worth $150 million.

When the sitcom hits its 100th episode, individual stations can buy programs outside of the network system — and that is where the serious money comes into play.

The milestone episode should occur in October 2014. For comparison sake, it took the actor three times as long to earn the equivalent while on ‘Two and a Half Men.’

He is also headed to the big screen, with a film due out this fall. He’ll portray the President of the United States in ‘Machete Kills’ under his given name, Carlos Estevez. The action flick hits theaters October 11.

With a history of serious substance abuse, it remains to be seen whether 47-year-old Charlie can keep the train on the tracks while he grinds out another year of weekly television gigs.

His FX series has him cast as a former professional baseball player turned anger management therapist. The twist is that he has a boatload of his own anger issues to deal with.

Everybody loves a success story and we’re rooting for this underdog. It makes us want to chant: Go Charlie, Go Charlie, Go Charlie!
