The much-anticipated first photo of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian‘s 10-week-old baby girl North West was revealed today on grandma Kris Jenner‘s talk show.
Kayne was a guest on the final day of the Fox pilot and he brought along a photo of North, who was born on June 15.
The first sighting of the infant came last week at the Oklahoma funeral of Kanye’s grandfather. While we all got a great view of baby mama Kim, she draped a blanket over North’s head to shield her from the press, except for her adorable shoes.
The rapper told Kris, “To stop all the noise, I thought it’d be really cool, on her grandmother’s season finale, to bring a picture of North.” He stated emphatically, “We have not attempted to get paid for the first photo.”
Right after the show aired, new mom Kim posted the photo on Twitter, Instagram and her other social site with the caption, “North.”
Kim also posted a note to her mother on her personal blog, “Today’s the finale of The Kris Jenner Show and I couldn’t be more proud of all the hard work my mom has put into this show. It had always been a dream of hers to have a talk show and being able to see her in her element these past weeks was amazing! Xo”
West gushed about Kim and North during the interview, “She’s my joy and she brought my new joy into the world. After I lost my mother, there were times I felt I would put my life at risk. I felt like sometimes I didn’t have something to live for. Now I have two really special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for.”
