Jamie Lee Curtis was involved in a car accident yesterday in Venice, CA, that resulted in a trip to the hospital for the ‘Freaky Friday’ celebrity.
The actress was the passenger in a black Yukon SUV that crashed into a BMW. She immediately phoned her close pal, Jodie Foster, who showed up at the scene shortly after the accident to provide support to her friend.
Curtis and one other passenger were transported to an area hospital for treatment.. Jamie Lee Curtis was reportedly released soon afterward and is recovering at her Santa Monica residence.
According to bystanders, Foster materialized soon after the crash to provide comfort in what could have been a scene straight out of a Hollywood movie.
Curtis has appeared in various commercials and ads for Activia since 2007 and is a blogger for The Huffington Post online newspaper.
