Funny man Jason Sudeikis is leaving ‘Saturday Night Live’ after almost a decade on the show.
Last night during a guest appearance with David Letterman, Sudeikis revealed that he is definitely done, “I’m going to leave. Yeah, I’m not coming back next fall.”
Jason has been a cast member on ‘SNL’ for the past decade, with eight year spent performing sketches after two years as a script writer. He acknowledged, “It’s been really, really amazing. I was very, very lucky.”
Other cast members making their exit this year: Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and Seth Meyers.
Following in the footsteps of a number of former ‘SNL’ ensemble cast members, Sudeikis has launched into a promising film career. He co-stars with Jennifer Aniston in ‘We’re the Millers,’ set to hit theaters on August 7.
On the love front, Sudeikis announced his engagement to ‘Tron’ actress Olivia Wilde on Jan. 12, 2013.
