Ashton Kutcher is reportedly close to inking a $10 million endorsement deal with Chinese multinational technology firm Lenovo.
The company, the world’s second-largest personal computer vendor based on unit sales, has tapped the ‘Two and a Half Men’ star to lend his high profile face to their product ads.
Kutcher has been enjoying a lucrative business relationship with Nikon since 2009 and is reaping the benefits from investments in a handful of technology startups: Skype, Foursquare, Airbnb, Path and Fab.com.
The actor will appear on the big screen in mid-August in the biographical drama based on the life of Apple founder Steve Jobs, a man he considers his hero.
On the home front, divorce negotiations are still mired in the muck with his estranged wife Demi Moore. She is still haggling over his venture-capital fund, A-Grade Investments, that has a reported valuation of $100 million.
Ashton claims the deal was just an idea floating around in his head when he was with Moore, and didn’t come to fruition until they were no longer a couple.
Their marital union came crashing down in late Sept. 2011, when he was caught cheating on the couple’s sixth wedding anniversary. He has since moved on with actress Mila Kunis.
