It’s a boy!
Kate Middleton has given birth to a baby boy at St. Mary’s Hospital in London.
Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their first child at 6:26 p.m. on Monday. They arrived at the hospital at 6 a.m. after Kate went into labor.
A formal announcement was made by the palace before the traditional signed birth document was attached to an easel and put on display by a palace aide. The announcement reads, “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 6:26 p.m. today. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.” It is signed by the attending physicians.
