Ellen DeGeneres gave Sophia Grace Brownlee and her cousin Rosie McClelland their start in music and now kids cable channel Nickelodeon will give them an opportunity to try acting.
The British media darlings will guest star on the new sitcom ‘Sam & Cat,’ that premiered on June 8, 2013.
Their contract will pay Sophia, 10, and Rosie, 6, each $2,119.70 plus $1,000 for travel from the UK — according to a filed contract that was obtained by TMZ.
The series, a crossover spin-off of ‘iCarly’ and ‘Victorious,’ features Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande as Sam and Cat, who launch a babysitting business.
‘Sam & Cat’ was picked up for 20 episodes. No word on whether whether Sophia and Rosie, cast as Ruby and Gwen, will be offered recurring roles.
