Academy award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has opted for a new hairdo, a decision that sent her hairstylist reeling over the weekend.
The ‘Hunger Games’ celeb breezed into the hair and makeup chair of Mark Townsend prior to the GLAAD Media Awards and decided she wanted a new look.
He said, “Yesterday, Jennifer showed up an hour before call time and as she opened the door she was like ‘Mark, I want to cut it all off.’ I was like ‘What? Are we allowed to do that?’ And she said ‘Of course, it’s my hair!'”
Townsend gushed, “She was super excited. It’s the shortest her hair has been her whole life. As I cut, I lost track of how many times she said ‘I love it!'”
Lawrence rocked a long, shaggy bob with wispy bangs when she presented GLAAD’s prestigious Advocate for Change award to former President Bill Clinton.
