Miranda Lambert won three categories last night in Las Vegas at the 48th Academy of Country Music Awards, including the coveted Female Vocalist title.

Event co-host Blake Shelton shared Song honors with his wife for ‘Over You.’ She also picked up Single Record for the same tune.

The popular coach on ‘The Voice’ came up empty in the high-profile categories this year. Winning Male Vocalist was Jason Aldean and Entertainer of the Year honors went to Luke Bryan.

Bryan was overcome with emotion when he stepped up to the microphone to accept the biggest award of the evening. He managed to say, “I swear to God, every time I step on stage, it is a blessing for me to play for fans. This is the defining moment in my life and it means the world to me and I will never take it for granted.”

Other winners included Thompson Square – Vocal Duo, Little Big Town – Vocal Group, Album – ‘Chief’ Eric Church, New Artist – Florida Georgia Line.
