We knew that it wouldn’t be long before ex-husband Jon Gosselin weighed in on TLC’s decision to pull the plug on Kate Plus 8.
Jon took the high road, though he made it quite clear that he is relieved that Kate Gosselin will now have little choice but to raise the children out of the public view.
He told Radar: “I hope they can have more private family moments… and my children can get the proper attention they need for any personal issues they might have in the future.”
Regarding her future plans, Jon apparently isn’t privy: “I have no clue what her next move is. I hope she dedicates more time to the kids now and I wish her the best as she goes forward with whatever career she wants to pursue.”
Kate hit Twitter with a vengeance last night in what sounded like a “poor me” litany. This morning she appears to have shifted gears with: “Good morning! It’s a new day! Despite our challenges, we must forge ahead putting our best foot forward. It’s all about perspective!!!! Have a good one.”
