Kym Johnson, Dancing with the Stars pro and partner to Pittsburgh Steeler Hines Ward, was rushed to Cedars Sinai Hospital yesterday after injuring her neck in a fall during rehearsal.

The couple, among the Final Four on Season 12 of the hit ABC show, have been getting ready for three dance routines that they will perform on Monday in the semi-final competition.

DWTS issued this statement: “After several tests, she was cleared by the medical staff, though she is bruised, sore and currently wearing a neck brace. Kym plans to continue with Hines Ward in the competition and resume rehearsals as soon as possible.”

The injured pro took to her Twitter page last night to talk about her ordeal:

She went on to ‘tweet’: “Thank you everyone for your concern, love and support. I’m a little shaken up and sore but I will be fine.”

Another contestant, Karate Kid star Ralph Macchio, is also among the ‘walking wounded,’ after suffering a ruptured Bakers cyst behind his knee last weekend. He and his partner Karina Smirnoff struggled through their two routines on Monday night but were kept in the competition, thanks to a sympathetic fan base.
